First up, when you come to our offices in East Leake, you will find free parking. You can reach us easily from Leicester, Derby and Nottingham and you will notice the friendly village vibe. We are all about supporting our local community and are part of East Leake Traders Association.
Charities are close to our heart and our current chosen charity is LWA (Living Without Abuse) who provide support to victims of domestic abuse in Leicestershire.
You might have spotted Nicola in the Coalville Colour Run or watched us win LWA’s charity quiz in August 2017. In addition to that, we recently ran a promotion that donated 10% of all new signing fees to LWA. We don’t do things by half.
If you’re after a personal touch when dealing with your accountants then you’ll like our approach to customer service. As we are only a small team you are guaranteed individual attention and are assigned a dedicated person to talk to so there is no being passed around from pillar to post and having to learn a bunch of names. What we do for you as accountants
Of course, we provide your usual accountancy services such as Accounts Preparation, Bookkeeping, Payroll (including PAYE and CIS) as well as VAT and Business and Personal Taxation. In addition, we can also help you with Grant Sourcing and Business Turnaround. But we don’t stop there.
You can be confident that we stay current with the latest legislation by attending seminars and regular training events.
You might be interested to know that ALBA has two meanings for us. First of all, it’s our acronym for Accountants Looking Beyond Accounts. We’ll explain this in a moment. Secondly, Alba is also the Scottish Gaelic word for Scotland, and as soon as you meet our Scottish founder Wilson Ross you will understand why he chose that name when he co-founded the business in 2008.
What we mean by “looking beyond accounts” is that we do more than the average accountant and do not just look at the numbers. We aim to understand what they mean, especially for you as the business owner. We will always explain your accounts to you in such a way that you can make the right decisions to help the business grow.
